Second post. Second guessing.

This blog does not yet have a purpose. I know that. I'm trying to think of a reason to do this, but instead I'm coming up with more existential angst. That is the thing I was trying to avoid.
Ideally, this blog would be funny and relevant. It would have at least a modicum of originality, and it would give me something to do at work while nobody is looking. Maybe it just takes time.

So, for now, I suppose the contents of this blog will be topical and boring. Don't be surprised if you find dumb pictures of celebrities or links to songs that aren't even that good. I'll probably drop hints about things that I think are pretty cool, but they'll be more along the lines of t-shirts & websites & local specials on meatball hoagies. Topical...and boring.

I like this song. I hear it, and I think of a life I am not living. I picture 9:15pm on a Friday. A Summer evening. Walking from my car to whatever fun thing I'm doing that night. Good god, it would be amazing to sweat and dance and smile as the sun goes down.
